Founded in 2022 after the founder ran transportation for a $5B US Retailer and scaled Amazon's e-commerce delivery network, the firm helps smaller clients navigate their e-commerce supply chains, as well as helping institutional investors, private equity and other management consulting firms navigate the new e-commerce landscape.

Derek Lossing
Founder and Principal
Derek Lossing is the principal advisor at Cirrus Global Advisors, Inc. Derek is an independent senior advisor to multiple transportation & e-commerce companies in the areas of e-commerce supply chain, transportation and global air cargo. Derek’s current engagements include advisory to institutional investors and a management consulting firm, consulting on strategy, procurement and global economics. Derek has also acted as a senior industry advisor at one of Europe’s largest Private Equity firms and advises the C-Suite at one of America’s fastest growing e-commerce brands. Derek was the Senior Director of Transportation at American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., leading all direct to consumer and retail transportation for the company. From 2015-2021, Derek was a Transportation and Operations executive at Amazon, including time with Amazon Air, Global Logistics, and Last Mile. At Amazon, he negotiated large and complex transportation agreements with DHL, UPS, FedEx, Atlas, ATSG, and global ocean carriers, and helped scale the last mile logistics and FBA freight forwarding product, with responsibilities across North America, Europe, Japan and China. Prior to Amazon, Derek led global logistics for Delta Air Lines, and managed pricing and revenue management for Delta Cargo from 2008-2015.
