Over the last few months, we regrouped to ask ourselves- how can we help both future clients understand what we do, while offering past and current clients market insights. And selfishly, how can we process the news that is even more efficient, internally at out firm. Like many of our customers, we are bombarded with emails, bombarded with apps, market data, push notifications, breaking news from a number of reputable publications. We get daily briefs, weekly briefs, and insights from conferences. LinkedIn provides a wealth of information, and when you subscribe to company newsletters, these can provide great resources and trends. But how do practitioners pull together the relevant news, and actually turn into "what do I actually need to know" to help accomplish their organizations goals?
Our firm really covers a few unique areas- and if this aligns with your interests, this blog could become a great resource. It's actually even helping us internally manage the "so what". Yes- we are leveraging both our analysts and AI to attempt to corral all the information. Our firm covers the following areas: Air Cargo (think Atlas, ATSG, CargoJet, and Airlines), Cross-Border E-commerce (Temu, Shein, Alibaba, and Quince), US and EU E-commerce (Walmart, Amazon, Wayfair), and Transportation- Forwarders (Expeditors, DSV, K&N), Transportation- Integrators (FedEx, UPS, DHL), and US Logistics (JB Hunt, XPO, Old Dominion). We also have a deep interest in US and Canada Last Mile.
If you are a supply chain director or VP (targeted audience), we don't expect you to know when every DHL Earnings call is. But if something significant is developing, we want to have your back.
We are committed to providing a weekly overview of 1) Logistics News 2) Earnings Call Previews and what to watch 3) Earnings Recaps 4) Special Reports on Industry News.
We are a small firm, and won't be perfect. But we will help you be better. If you are any better at helping shift a strategy, our efforts are well worth it. Stay Tuned for our first post next week.
